"The Firefighter’s Best Friend" is the first book to document the role and tradition of Chicago firedogs through real life stories, history, and photography.  There are hundreds of pictures and firedog narratives assessing the important role dogs have played and continue to play in firehouses.  A percentage of the proceeds generated from book sales will be donated to the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Burn Camp for children who were victims of fires.
